Selvage in schools
Selvage Botanik comes to schools as a speaker. The aim is not to leave students with a memorized speech about the environment. It is to give them a language in which they can see water, plants, and green life in their own garden.
Talks are built for age. With younger students, the worth of a drop and the duty of looking after one plant. With older students, plants that live on little water, soil, season, and the decisions a school garden can make.
A school may ask for a single talk or a program across a term. The content is set with the teachers. What remains is a plain note the student can take home and into the garden.
